MPC Rule 2.2

1.Tournament Format

・The maximum number of participants in the tournament will be 25.
・This event will consist of 5 matches.
・Participants (hereafter referred to as "players") will be "session friends" collected by the organizer Tyoro during the event.
・The standings for each round of all matches will be recorded manually by the management for each match.
・This tournament will be held on the " North East Asia" server.

2.Scoring

Players are basically awarded "MPC Pt" according to their in-game ranking. The player with the most "MPC Pt" is the winner.
However, in "Faster Than Sound" and "The Battle Box," which are "1 on 1" competitions, points will be awarded based on the score, ignoring wins and losses, rather than in-game standings.
In this case, if a player on the losing side has a higher score than the other players on the winning side, the "MPC Pt" for that number of players will be added.

In the event of a "tie-breaking metronome" when a tie occurs as a result of a round, the tie will be treated as a tie and points will be awarded instead of ranking by metronome.

About "MPC Pt."

"MPC Pt" does not place a strong value on passing rounds, but focuses on consistently high performance in each round.
With the exception of Round 1, no points will be awarded for failure to pass a round. Please refer to the table below for the list of points to be credited.

About "MPC Player Rank"

In addition to MPC Pt, the performance of players is also calculated independently in this tournament. It is called MPC Player Rank.
The MPC Player Rank is calculated and quantified based on scores for the five factors of "rhythm," "memory/processing ability," "input speed/accuracy," "reaction speed," and "identification speed".
While simple rankings alone can fluctuate depending on the item, MPC Player Rank more accurately quantifies an individual's performance.
For greater accuracy in the MPC Player Rank, please also post the results of "Oui Votre Majesté" in the "#post-of-screenshots" channel on the tournament Discord.
In "The Ring", which is subject to MPC Player Rank calculation, only those who passed the round are included in the calculation, since the result can change significantly if a player drops out during the round.

3.Prizes

・MPC Pt #5:Right to participate in the next season's MPC
・MPC Pt #4:Right to participate in the next season's MPC
・MPC Pt #3:Right to participate in the next season's MPC, "MPC S* #3" role on the Discord server.
・MPC Pt #2:Right to participate in the next season's MPC, "MPC S* #2" role on the Discord server.
・MPC Pt #1:Right to participate in the next season's MPC, "MPC S* #1" role on the Discord server.

・MPC Player Rank #1:Right to participate in the next season's MPC, "S* Master Pigeon" role on the Discord server.

※In the event of duplicate participation rights, the right will be an invitation right.
※In the event that a management player whose participation has been confirmed receives the right to participate, the order in which he/she will receive the right to participate will be moved down.

・"Oui Votre Majesté" Five Finishers : Picture Presents

4.Completeness of the competition and breaks

There will be a three-minute break between matches.
These three minutes will be counted down on the live feed of the operation.
Screenshots of round passers will be taken by the management as evidence of scores.
If all the management players are disconnected, we will ask each player to cooperate in taking scores.
(You can submit your comments to the management by DM to Twitter, #reports-and-inquiries channel on the tournament Discord, Steam chat to the management, etc., as long as they reach the management.)

5.Ejection or Disconnection from a Match

・If a player disconnects or leaves during a match, he or she will be considered to have lost the match. However, the points earned up to that point will be credited.
・If a player is disconnected in round 1, everyone returns to the lobby and waits to rejoin to start again. This can be done once for each player.
・The decision to restart will be made by the management in the #notice-from-manager channel of the tournament Discord, in comments during the live stream, and in mentions during the live stream. In this case, the player who disconnected must report the disconnection with IGN in the #reports-and-inquiries channel on the tournament Discord server or in the live-streamed comments of the tournament. If a rematch is confirmed, the disconnection will be handled by the management. (If a participant is at a loss to make a decision during the match, he/she can play ROUND 1 normally. If you have enough time, please cooperate with the disconnection.)
・Disconnections after round 2 or after the result of round 1 has been determined will not be restarted to prevent abuse.

6.Special rules and rulings for each mini-game

After Party

We cannot play for 41 minutes, so the following rules apply.

・In the event that the management is unable to calculate everyone's score due to an error, the ranking at the end of Round 3 will be applied.
・Players should play until the next Listen call after 3 minutes have elapsed.
・If a mistake is made before the three-minute mark is reached, the ranking will start from 5th place. (However, please submit a screenshot of the overall result screen for MPC Player Rank calculation. In this case, all sequences that could not be performed will be counted as mistakes.)
・Do not play the starting note of the sequence that follows and miss. (You do not need to press the button.)

An example is provided below.
If the timing of the end is too ambiguous, the end timing will be set at the discretion of the management.

Example
2:58.258 ~ Listen
3:01.695 ~ Play ←This sequence plays
3:04.975 ~ Listen ←Listen call that serves as the termination decision
3:08.541 ~ Play ←Assume this sequence to be no touch

If the match is successfully completed, the following rules apply
・Players are required to submit a screenshot of the final overall result screen to the management. Taking a screen shot with a smartphone is acceptable.
(See the #question-and-answer channel on the competition Discord server for about the overall results screen. Also, please submit your report to #report-of-results on the tournament Discord server. However, if you cannot submit your report smoothly due to Discord usage, you can submit it to the organizer Tyoro and Tyoro will share it with the management.)
The After Party score on the screen taken is the number of perfects, and the ranking is determined according to the number of perfects.
If this process is forgotten, all eligible players will be treated as "next in line after those who dropped out during ROUND 4".
If you had a live streaming on Youtube, you may submit the url with the timestamp of that live stream. (However, please make sure to turn on the rewind function.)

If the game is not completed due to a super bonus, bonus or entry of a non-tournament player, the following rules will apply.
・All notes are not touched until the end of the match.
After the match, please submit a screenshot of the final overall result screen to the Management as you normally do.
The After Party score posted will be the Round 4 score.

Example
2:58.258 ~ Listen
3:01.695 ~ Play ←Originally, this sequence is the last (get bonus here as an example)
3:04.975 ~ Listen ←Listen call that serves as the termination decision
3:08.541 ~ Play ←(during bonus, invincible 1st time) no touch
3:11.821 ~ Listen
3:15.387 ~ Play ←(during bonus, invincible 2nd time) no touch
3:18.667 ~ Listen
3:22.233 ~ Play ←No touch (end of game)

Since this rule is particularly complex, a video of the explanation is available.
Please be sure to turn on subtitles when viewing.

The Battle Box

Since the score drops in spite of the difficulty when entering the tie-breaker, a positive compensation of 4.5% is given to the pair that enters the tie-breaker. (This value is slightly higher than the two bonuses.)
This correction will be applied to the ranking calculation and the calculation of the loser's side bonus points.
This shall not apply to the calculation of MPC Player Rank.

The Final Ride, The '70s Race

Even though ties for first place do occur, ties for lower positions do not occur.
Regarding this, if the time scores were exactly the same, there would be no pattern of first and second place.
Therefore, if the time scores are the same, they will be treated as a tie, even if their in-game rankings are different.

7.Bugs

In the event of a critical bug that makes it impossible to proceed in a tournament match, we will mention it on the live stream of the tournament and on the #notice-from-manager channel of the tournament Discord, depending on the situation at the time.

8.Cheating during the tournament

If cheat tools or fraudulent reporting of results are discovered in the course of participation in this tournament, the competitor will be denied participation in future MPCs.
If an allegation is made during a match, we will not immediately suspend the match or take any other action to avoid erroneous judgments. After the tournament, a decision will be made based on the distribution of information from various sources, interviews with the player, and the submission of evidence.
If cheating is confirmed, the competitor will be removed from the tournament standings and moved up in the standings.
This item applies even if you are a "snipe match participant".

9.Live Streaming of Matches

The management will provide the main live streaming of the tournament, but we encourage you to do your own live streaming as well! We would be glad to have you actively participate.
All the delays and other annoying settings are not necessary. We hope everyone can make this tournament a great success!

10.Special Thanks (titles omitted)

This tournament is made possible by the cooperation of many people. We would like to thank them here.

Oakdays

The rules underlying the MPC Rule were largely based on PECK#1, which he organized.

XCF乱闘21時~不定期開催!!! (TANI-HARA)

He helped us in a wide range of areas, including the details of each mini-game, establishing detailed rules, and determining how to calculate the MPC Player Rank.

PIGEONITY 住田 (住田)

As the right-hand man for the convention management, she has helped us with various matters, including necessary communications for the convention, establishing a communication system during the convention, and consulting on initial point proposals.

Stereo Ma To (まと)

She has been working behind the scenes to manage the tournament, helping us with many inconspicuous tasks such as promptly inputting match results, speeding up point calculations, and judging players who disconnected from the tournament. Without her, this tournament would not have been possible.

FITNESS xtukei (いくすけ)

He is in charge of various miscellaneous tasks for the tournament management, finalizing the point totals and really doing a lot of other miscellaneous work necessary for the tournament.

Tonami

We are using the 3-minute timer she created as a break counter for the competition.

あんこうちゃん (Nakaiankow)

We used his music and arrangements for the OP of MPC S2 and MPC S3.
